With some misgivings, we decided to go with a "Please Don't Come to This Fundraiser" theme for this "Non-event" fundraiser. From a purely financial perspective, a live event generally generates more giving. From a community perspective, a live event is more "fun" than sitting at home. However, in light of additional events for Hurricane victims adding to an already full Fall fundraising platter, we felt a "live" event would overtax people's already busy schedules. We hope our "non-event" will be well- attended by people sitting at home in their pajamas! Your contribution, whatever the amount, will help make a difference in one boy's life.
